Our farm campsite is located in the southern Hautes-Alpes and the Parc de Baronnies Provençales, not far from Gorges de la Méouge, Barret sur Méouge and Séderon.
Surrounded by donkeys and mountains, Bamboul’âne Farm Campground is quite small. Located at an altitude of 1,000 metres (almost 3,300 feet), neighbouring the village of Eourres, it enjoys a stunning view of the valley.
It’s not meant for hundreds of campers, so don’t expect a pool, pedalo boats, or an on-site convenience store! It is, however, a charming spot, far from roads and the madding crowd.
Bamboul'âne Farm Campground is divided into two parts.
The lower part is intended for families with young children or people who wish to be right near the village.
This well-shaded part of the campground is equipped with two showers, two loos, two sinks for your hands and one for doing dishes. There is also a space for cooking with a refrigerator and a round table that has become a favourite spot for socializing with other campers.
Children will find swings and games for little tykes near a very old pear tree.
A lean-to allows families to gather near the campfire in the evening.
The Syl-van is located in this part of the campground.
